An auction never made it to AW

So sorry, but rather than complain about how inept I feel, I'll just try to explain my problem.
I opened an ebay store, plus I have a few auctions running, all sent from AW. Ebay says I sold an item, but there's no auction lot for it. (I've updated, yes)
I'm pondering possible reasons.
I told ebay to relist auctions as they sold, so I'm wondering if that happened? Since it didn't come from AW, AW doesn't recognize them?
I considered that I need an auction profile for regular auctions and one for my store, so I did that and now have two (one for store, one not)
Should I just make up an invoice (if I can remember how) for this renegade ended auction and forget it?
BTW, I got an EOA email thru AW for it, but of course can't associate it to anything. The buyer already paid too.

I haven't used AW much in the last couple years and feel rusty with the jargon, but it's starting to come back. Please be easy with me!

HI

No worries... Easily fixed.. So don't panic,

Have you updated AW2000 lately? If not, you should do so by going to "Tools > Check for program updates".. There has been a lot of changes that are totally cool. And you will want them installed.

If you allow eBay to automatically relist for you, then the Auction lot cannot be updated or otherwise tracked automatically in AW2000. It is best to list, update and manage all the Auction lots using AW2000.

Yes you need more than profile to effectively manage Fixed price versus auction style listings. It is easier that way. When you create an Auction profile for the Store Fixed price, there is a spot to select your eBay store subscription level in the profile settings. That way fees are stored correctly.

You can manually generate invoices for anyone. Not a problem at all.

Since you have an AWOL auction lot,,,

Is the product/item in Aw2000? Or did you list the item using eBay's sell your item form?

If the item is in AW2000, just locate it, paste the Auction item number into the Auction lots Auction id field..

If the item is not in AW2000, just create an auction lot for it. You don't even have to add the pictures. Just the title line, price, brief description and the Auction id.

Since the buyer has paid, why don't we go ahead and assign the Auction profile to the auction lot. You do that by clicking the drop down in the upper left hand corner of the Auction lot, The field says "Auction profile" and select the right profile for the lot.

Change the "Status" to Online.

Then click "Auction site" on the menu and select "Update lot".

Let Aw2000 update the lot. All the buyer information will store for you.. How cool is that.

Then click Tasks on the menu and select "Generate invoices.

AW2000 will generate the invoice for you.

Now you can associate the End of Auction, record the payment and finish the transaction up .

Does that help???

Well, everything you suggested doing, I did. Thank goodness I remembered a lot so it wasn't so unfamiliar once I got started. Just felt overwhelmed at the beginning, with no one to ask. 'Course there was help available so quickly here!! Thanks a lot.
