When I enter an amount in Buy Now and try to post, I get an error stating I must enter a starting amount. I want to set up auctions for Buy Now and Make offer. I know where to check make an offer is in the AW listing page. Second question. Why isn't make offer on the beginning page, where price is entered? Even once an item is listed and I try to edit the listing to a Buy it Now, the Fixed auction tab never appears. Thanks

sorry for the long delay,, I won't tell you that I have been vacationing in Europe and didn't have good internet connection
Be sure the profile is the right listing type. Single listing type... Fixed price is only Buy it now. The single qty listing type will allow the start price and a buy it now as well as a Reserve price.
A single qty listing type is not the same as a Fixed price listing type.. You need to check the profile listing type to see what type it is
The issue is the the listing type.. You have it set to "Single qty listing type".. Single qty listing type cannot have the Best offer
Change the listing type on the Auction lot to Fixed price. The drop down to select the listing type on the Auction lot is directly underneath the profile
We sell on Ebay and have a store. Can someone help me with this. We list an item with AW in auction format. It dosen't sell so we relist it in the store using AW. This is kind of time consuming. In the past we would just use ebay selling manager to move from auction to store. and bypass AW listing method. Is there a better to accomplish this? I suspect this may have caused some problems with picture hostings. Or am I ok doing this until I update all AW lots? Thanks Mike
Perhaps it might be helpful to explain how to change an auction lot profile.
when the auction ends and the lots are updated in AW2000. Just click the Auction profile drop down in Aw2000 on the auction lot record and select the eBay store profile Then queue the lot and list it back to eBay.
Using eBay's tools to move listings around from auction format to store will mean when someone purchases the item, it will be very difficult to manage the inventory in AW2K or invoice. The Auction id number will need to be manually entered, then updated.
Picture hosting can be an issue for sure moving the lots using seller manager if the listing was originally listed with AW2K using self hosted pics.
I think it depends on how someone wants to manage their eBay listings. Hope that helps
