Auction 'shipping' final value fees not recording new

Just noticed in my ebay sellers account the final value fees for 'shipping' are listed separately for each listing. Also noticed they are not included in the closed auction lot 'fees' section in aw2k?

Hi Judy, was wondering if you had time to check on this issue? My final value fees are still being billed separate for the shipping on an item and awk2k is not adding them to the "auction fees" in the auction tab.

How are others handling this?
Thankyou for any info,
Al

HI Al

Yes.. I did and they are working on it.. should have a resolution soon..

On another note the eBay billling for the new charges on shipping is just a real challenge to go through.. Have to locate the transaction on one page in eBay billing center then go find the shipping calculation charges. Why in the world do they not put the two together instead of spreading it out on different pages is beyond me

This seems to a hit or miss on capturing the extra Final Value Fee on "Shipping". I have found some of completed auctions have only the "Fee" listed in my invoice for amount the item sold for.
It looks as though the fees are added together and presented as the "Final Value Fee". The only way to ensure all the Fees are included for the auction is to dump the "Sold and Shipped" items and cross compare to the invoice numbers for that auction lot.
It would be very beneficial if the fees are identifiable in the the auction lot. Either by changing the name used for the "Final Value Fee" or listing each fee separately.
Did notice the auction that had the captured both fees were fairly close together in the invoice listing. If they buyer paid a few days later it would not always pickup the "Shipping Fee"

Re: Auction 'shipping' final value fees not recording [re: dizman67]

Just downloaded all my invoices from eBay, Ran a compare of the "Final Value Fee" + "Final Value Fee Shipping" over 50% of my sold items had the only the "FVF" included in the fees. The "FVF Shipping" was not accounted for in the fees. Combining both of these fees in AW2K as a single entry labeled "Final Value Fee (eBayid)" does not allow a cross check that all the fees associated with selling item are properly accounted for.

The FVF-Shipping was omitted from all the auctions when a buyer took more than a day to pay for the auction. Since the FVF-Shipping fee does not get generated until the item is paid for.

Hopefully a soon to be released update will address this.

Hi

I know that tech is aware of the FVF. What happens if the buyer pays at checkout and prior to updating the auction lots, the fees are returned correctly. It is when the buyer pays after the auction lots are updated .. The fees can't be returned because the auction lot is already showing up as Sold not shipped and isn't online

SOOOO me being me I changed the status back to Online and updated just that one auction lot and the fees stored correctly .

The only time we run into the fees not storing is during the day when we are online and updating auction lots as they sell. The auctions that come off during the night and buyer pays, the fees store okay. And if we wait to update the auction lots until after the buyer has paid during the day the fees are storing .. It is those buyers that wait for a while to pay we found the fee stored does not include shipping.

Anyway that is how we are handing it for now.

Re: Auction 'shipping' final value fees not recording new [re: bluepennylady]

Really appreciate you sharing your methods to capture the FVF-Shipping Fee. Have started to put a much higher quantity of fixed priced lots instead of auctions. The FP Lots require the buyer to pay immediately for the item won. Which is greatly reducing the amount of double checking the fees. I will try your methodology to start capturing the FVF-shipping Fee.
Thanks Again
