Updating your Auction Lots

Tracking the current status of your auctions is a vital part of the auction management process. Only Auction Lots with a Status of "On Line" can be updated.

When you update an Auction Lot, Auction Wizard 2000 automatically retrieves the latest status information for the lot from the auction site on which it’s listed.

Auction Lots can be updated individually or by Auction Profile. Or, you can update all "On Line" Auction Lots at once. In any case, you must be connected to the Internet before you can Update Auction Lots.

If you use the Buy Price field on your Auction Lots to list your items for sale at a fixed price, you’ll want to use the Update All Lots function frequently.

Detailed information on Updating Auction Lots (including what data Auction Wizard 2000 extracts from the auction site listing page during the process) and a Tutorial can be located in the help files. Select Help | Contents from the Auction Wizard 2000 menu bar and click on the Index tab to locate the Updating Auction Lots topic.
