Lot #s

Hi,

I'm fairly new at this and I created a few lots and decided to delete them and start over, but after I deleted them, the lot #s won't start over, it won't start back at Lot # 1, it starts at Lot # 9; Is There a way to reset it back to Lot # 1?

Re: Lot #s new [re: bigbargains4u]

The Lot numbers are just for internal use so it is not really relevant what number they have. The only way I can think of to have it reset to zero would be installing Awk again so it will create virgin database files. Keeping a backup of the database directory right after installing Aw2K might be an idea if you really need to start from zero.

You could email Thom.
It is somewhere in the database and he could tell you how to reset it.
But, like the other response, the lot number is only an internal thing, after two years I never used it for anything.
It's the invoice number that's important.
