Counters?

Can counters be added to auctions in AW2000?

Hi,

Yes they can. That option is available on the Lister Window after images are uploaded. It is on the right hand side on the "Additional Options" tab. Right underneath the "Private Listings" checkbox.

There are the three same options as available on eBay when using the "Sell Your Item" form.

Sounds like to me someone is getting close to listing or has listed!!!

HI,

Wow you have some really good looking clothing listed. Way too cool! I am so glad you are up and running.

You might play around with your listing frame and store theme. You can customized the store theme and listing frame colors to match your Listing template exactly. Convert the colors used on the listing template to hexidecimal and you can use the hexidecimal at eBay so the colors match exactly. eBay only offers 3 or 4 font faces but you can make the font color to match exactly.

If you have trouble getting different shades to match exactly, you can use "color cop" to find the right shades. It has the neatest little eye dropper and displays the RGB for you. Pretty cool little color tool.

I love the yellow font color. Shows up really well.

Re: Counters? new [re: bluepennylady]

Thanks for that. My husband is the artist. He plans to get around to matching the ebay theme with our own though he is a bit busy at the moment. thanks for all of the tips.

A couple of questions for you. Do you think making it that people have to pay right away will put alot of people off?

It looks like it may take a few month to get things rolling. Hardly any one looks at our store items and we have to feature all of our 99c items which is a bit costly but most likely necessary to draw in customers. I guess it takes time to build up a clientele right?

Thanks again for everything
Mayapur

Re: Counters? new [re: mayapur]

Hi,

My husband is also artistic His whole family is artistic.

Requiring immediate payment is a personal choice in my opinion. I do not require immediate payment for Buy It Now auctions. Most buyers do pay immediately though.

The reason I do not require immediate payment is I think it removes the chance for interaction with the buyer. And that chance may very well glean add-on sales. I want the buyer to purchase multiple items not just one.

You will have to market your store. Be sure there are links to the store on your Listing template. But product up for regular 7 day auction that is also in your store. I realize the start price will not be .99 but you can put a line in the description stating there are more in your store.

On every email correspondence you send out, put your eBay store URL below your signature line even to family and friends. They may just pass it on to someone for you. OR buy something themself.

Start writing stuff to your blog. And download and install the Google base store connector. OPen up a google account. Then import your store listings and upload them to Google base. Google base is free right now and it drives traffic toyoru store.

have you enabled the RSS feeds on your ebay store yet? And the file exchange??

Re: Counters? new [re: bluepennylady]

Thanks for all that we will get onto it. Though i noticed the google base download on ebay doesn't work.

Once an auction ends and didn't sell and i don't wish to resell. How do i cancel so that the stock goes back into my inventory as available?

Thanks again for all of your help.

HI,

I am not sure what you mean by the Google base download on eBay doesn't work... If you google "Google store connector" it will pull up the google site for downloading and installing the connector. Only auctions with Buy It Now prices are uploaded to Google base.

You can easily return quantities back into the Stock inventory items,

Just delete the Auction lot.

HI,

I guess it would help if I told you how to delete an auction lot I am sorry.

Click on the Auction lot you are wanting to delete. On the toolbar find the minus sign. Click on it and you will receive a prompt asking if you are sure you want to delete. Click OK and the Auction lot is deleted and inventory returned.

Hi,

You mean the google base store connector won't install.. Or it will not upload all your store listings to google base?
