Re: Importing Listings new [re: bluepennylady]

Yes, for the most part. However, when I try to select a store category, it seems to list the store cats for only one of my Ebay user IDs. How do I get it to switch to the store cats for a different user ID?

Dan,

You can easily manage the Store categories between Profiles. But you will have to group the listings.

Only one set of eBay store categories is supported at a time. When you want to change the "Store Category" field on an Auction Lot or Inventory Item, you need to first import the store category list for the correct Auction Profile. For that reason it is best to set the "Store Category" fields for
one profile at a time.

If you want to get one Store at a time fixed up and listing etc before working on another, Then you might consider.

Importing listing works on one profile at a time, so import the store category list for the profile before importing the listings.

Does that help?

So if I understand you correctly, in order to b able to select the desired store categories when linking fields to import, one muct first "re-import" said storfe categories in order to be able to view them. Is that correct?
