Tax Profiles

If you are not required to collect sales tax, you won’t need to create any Tax Profiles.

For those who are required to collect sales tax, Auction Wizard 2000 uses Tax Profiles to compute and track the tax.

A Tax Profile consists of the names and corresponding tax rates for up to four separate taxing entities.

Create a Tax Profile to include each state, county, local or other taxing entity for which the required tax must be collected and set the appropriate corresponding tax rate(s).

For example, if you collect sales tax in Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico, you’ll want to create a separate Tax Profile for each state.

Auction Wizard 2000 will generate Invoices that show the amount of tax owed by your Buyers, and Reports that show the amount of tax owed to each of the taxing entities.

For help configuring your Tax Profiles settings, see the Auction Wizard 2000 Help Index under Tax Profiles.
