We were running on 5 machines very well and then we bought a new Windows 7 machine and we are experiencing a crash at least once a day all generated from this new machine. Is anyone else having issues with Windows 7 and if so what are the secrets to success. At this point we have shut down that machine. When the system crashed we had to back up and rebuild the data base, which did fix the problem but it takes over 20 minutes to do that and my users are down for that time.

Since the machine is new, I would get hold of the vendor and ask for tech support.

Or go to Microsoft and run one the diagnostic utilities. But i would check with wherever you bought the machine for some assistance with the issue.

We had a machine that crashed like that and ended up needing to do a windows repair from the operating system disk. Fixed it right up.
