Program on External Hard Drive?

I need to be able to use Auction Wizard on different computers (home and work), and am thinking about putting the program on an external hard drive to accomplish this.

Will this work? Are there any pitfalls I need to be aware of?

Thanks,

Mary

Re: Program on External Hard Drive? new [re: trendichick]

It is possible to run Auction Wizard 2000 from an external hard drive so that you can use it on more than one computer. The only requirement is the external hard drive must have the same drive letter assigned to it on both computers.

Install Auction Wizard 2000 on the external hard drive on the first computer. Move the external drive to the second computer and install it again in the same folder on the external drive. That should be all you need to do to run the software on either computer.
