How to get "Make An Offer"
|
|
|
How do I go about listing my item with a fixed price and then have it that they can make me an offer? Thank you.

Hi,
The "Best Offer" option is available on the Lister window (after images upload) in the "Additional Options" tab. There is a checkbox in the Miscelllanous settings.
You might find it easier to create a "Best Offer" Auction profile and move Auction lots to that profile. Then leave the "Best Offer" checkbox selected on the Lister window for that profile. That way you don't have to remember to check or uncheck the setting.
Just something to consider

Thank you, I knew that you would know the answer. It works great!
One other question, I know that you changed your format for your auctions, having horses, etc. on it. Has that increased your sales any?

HI,
Excellent! I am so glad.
Oh my new listing template.. I can say with hard clad data that yes the design did increase sales. I was a tester for Aswas consulting. The tests were to see exactly how a Listing template design affected the Sell Through rate, ending price, number of watchers, when bids were placed, etc. Very interesting test.
And I will have to say I was surprised at the statistics. I used my same Listing template I had always used and the new Aswas template design on identical items. We did not alter images, Title, price or the time listed. Without fail, two identical items listed side by side, the buyers would always, 100% of the time choose the Aswas template over my previous design.
If you are interested, I can certainly post the exact statistics from the testing. Pretty interesting stuff..
We used the AW2K convert to Pure HTML template design and wrote our own HTML code, using all the AW2K field tags and other outstanding features. The coders at Aswas could not believe all the features AW2K had. They had never worked with a software program that did so much. We had a BALL!! Probably spent way more time designing than we needed to but we sure had fun doing it

Hi
You are most welcome. and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well!
We just finished up with baking night. Last pie is in oven and the boys are getting ready to start smoking a turkey. We always have two turkeys. One baked and one from the smoker.

Judy, Your new page design really looks great! I think I may do some redesign for my eBay pages. I have been using a framed background for a few years and it is getting old. You are a treasure trove fo ideas and information.

Bob,
Thanks. We were very pleased the end results.
The horse was mine and the girl is a friend of mine. She bought him a couple of weeks before that picture was taken. He was such fun to ride. I loved to ride him
Go for it. And when you get yours redone let me know I would love to see!
