using email template for correspondance?

Hi,
First of all i love the Wizard...am still finding out lots of cool things about it.

Now I have a question....is there a way to set up a template to be able to correspond with past buyers (for example to notify them of an auction you know they will be interested in)? As it is now, I have yet to see how to do this. I did set up a blank template with no field tags, an Invoice template, and when I go to an old invoice to find the buyer who might want to bid on my NEW auction, I click on the send email icon and it does pull up the "Blank" letter...yet the queue button is greyed out and I cannot see any way to email it out :-( any tips? Up till now i have been just going to outlook express to do this but would rather do it right from wizard....CALL ME LAZY i say it's just thriftiness of effort ;-)

I guess another way to say this question is: is there a way to just write and send an email unassociated with anything else? something like a "new letter" feature?

Carrie,

You did the right thing to set up a template to correspond with past buyers. You just need to put something (your message) in the body of the template. The queue button on the Email Editor window is disabled if the body of the email message is blank (to prevent you from accidentally sending out a blank message).

This should help.
