hello......im so embarassed but I dont know the solution to this problem.
i will delete all the emails or even open email I recieve. then next time i check my emails I keep getting the same ones over and over again.
also I was successful at using AOL now but my mail doesnt go to AOL anymore its only coming to AW over and over again even after I delete or open them.
I also have an att email account doing the same things so I know it must be something Im doing wrong. thanks

Let me see if I can help out -

Within AW2K go to:

File|Email Accounts

Make sure you DON"T have the "Leave mail on Server" Box checked. (Toward the bottom right side)

Unchecked the mail will be deleted on the server and you shouldn't get dupes!

Take a look and let us know if that was the issue!

No reason to be embrassed at all... That is a really good question.

In your "Auction Profile > Email configuration settings" do you have "leave a copy on the server" checked?

And are you loading email into another email client as well?

If you leave a copy on the server, which is a completely normal setting to use, then deleted emails will load into AW2K when retrieving email again...

We load email into Outlook Express and have outlook configured to leave a copy on the server as well as AW2K. We will sort out stuff we do not need to retrieve into AW2K, delete it and empty the Deleted items bin, and retrieve email again to erase all unwanted emails.

Then load email into AW2K. It helps keep out the unwanted emails.
