Hi Penny, I'm thinking about signing up with GoDaddy since they have some great specials right now and have heard they are very good/dependable. Do you know if their email will work with AW2K? Thanks, Christopher

HI there
GoDaddy should work just fine.
The setup for Godaddy can be found here.

The setup for Outlook 2010 is the same as you use for AW2K.

Hi Penny, I had planned on using Godaddy, but saw this hosting site, "Justhost.com", mentioned on the PS boards and it actually looks a little better than the Godaddy, unless I purchased like the 3-year deal to get the extra discounts. It has unlimited everything and a free domain with a yearly package. Do you know anything about them and if they will also work with AW2K? I'm sorry for all of the questions, but I'm a total noobie about web hosting :)
Thanks, Christopher

HI there
I have not heard of them.
Check their help and see if they provide information for configuring Outlook or Windows Mail. Use those settings for AW2K.

Thanks Penny I'll give that a try.
I know this is probably a stupid question but, why do I need the information for configuring Outlook? Is it because if it will work for Outlook that it will also work for AW2K or is there another reason?
I normally use Thunderbird, but for my GMX email account I'm planning to only use AW2K for it.

HI Christopher
Oh no that isn't a dumb question at all I should have explained
The settings use to configure outlook or windows mail are teh same settings you need to setup the email account in AW2000.. So having those settings when configuring the email account makes it pretty easy.
