for some reason i am getting an email error 2 BLOB has been modified. what does that mean and how do I fix it.?

BLOB has been modified error will require you to backup your database. Scan your hard drive for errors and rebuild the database.
To scan your hard drive, go to "Start > My computer"
right click on the "C" drive.
When the applet opens, select "Tools"
The first option is "Error checking" click "check Now"
check "automatically fix file system errors"
When the prompt appears telling you Windows needs exclusive use and do you want to schedule the scan, click OK.
Restart your computer and let it work. Doesn't take very long.

Be sure you have done a backup before you do a rebuild.

Let me know if the rebuild corrects the problem

Thanks Judy, i had done a backup/rebuild earlier, every 7 days, so i did not consider doing it again. My son had installed something on the network and thought there was an issue between the computer upstairs and the database downstairs. guess not, just a coincidence.

did the rebuild resolve the issue?

And just a side note, anytime you have to do a rebuild, it is best to do a fresh backup, especially if you have worked in the database. If a table should fail to rebuild and you have to replace the table(s) from an old backup, all your work could be lost. That is why it is recommended to do a backup prior to any rebuild.
