When i test my smtp connection i get an error
" unknown SMTP error(Socket error 10053). Reply from server: "".

Does anyone know what this means, and will it stop me from sending out emails through aw2k? Thanks

Hi,

Check your firewall settings first thing. Are you using Norton Internet security? Or even McAfee. You will need to configure your Internet security to allow AW2000 full access to the Internet.

Also try changing the anti virus settings to only scan incoming email and not outgoing email.

Let me know if that resolves the issue or not.

Does anyone have Comcast as a provider, all of a sudden i can't send email from Auction Wizard, It will get my email, I just keep getting winsock errors- Help please

AW2000 can generate a file for troubleshooting.

Go into "file | Email account"

Run the SMTP test for the email account.

After the SMTP fails, attach the Outboxlog.txt file to an email message to me. I will look it over and see if I can see the problem.

Also, have you made any changes on your computer. Like changing firewall settings?
