HTML

Hi. Thanks for the quick reply to my post re auction updates. I see that SSL is not supported, OK, I can live with that even though it seems to be rapidly becoming the standard. But I'm concerned re the lack of HTML in emails. I read an earlier post that this had been requested in September of 07, was there any reply? I mean, HTML in emails is pretty standard now. Your views/ opinions welcomed.

Hi,

You are most welcome..
Happy to help wherever I can.

Yes HTML emails is on the suggestion list. And it would be nice however, I will say that once I got use to working with the text base email, I don't mind it at all anymore. The emails sent for Auction management purposes don't need the "Incredimail" look . And I have never had a single buyer complain about the email templates.

It has been quite the contraray, buyers email saying how nice it is to receive concise email communication notifying them of each step of the process. And since what we are really after is professional courteous prompt communication, a simple email template is just the ticket.

All the Paypal Paynow URL links work just fine in the text based email. Signature lines can still have hyperlinks.
