I have received payment and want to notify buyer.

I went to 'Invoice>email buyer with template>payment received with ship date'.

When I click on it and the email window comes up I get a message saying 'Email template fields referenced missing data'.

This is what the letter says, ' Your item will ship on'.

When I go to the editor to see what the tag situation is I see that the letter is formatted like this, 'Your item<#s2> will ship on <#ShipDate=d3>".

So, the tags are there but the proper data is being left out of my letter. Why?

Also, where can I find a dictionary or guide to all the differant ttags that are used in templates?

Is 'Tags' the proper term for what I'm talking about?

If the <#ShipDate=d3> field tag is not getting replaced, then the Invoice does not have a date in the Ship Date field. The Ship Date has to be entered when you record the Invoice's payment in the Ledger, so perhaps you didn't record the payment before creating the email message.
