After I'm done customizing my e-mail templates, is there a way that I can simply preview what the finished product will look like?

As long as you have at least one Invoice in your database you can preview an Email Template from the Invoices window. Click the Email Buyer with Template button on the toolbar. A menu containing the names of your Email Templates will be displayed. Selecting an Email Template from the menu will create a new email message from the selected template (using the current Invoice to replace the field tags in the template) and open it in an Email Editor window.

You should note the Status of the Invoice before doing this. If the Status of the Invoice is "Buyer Not Contacted", then it will be changed to "Waiting Buyer Reply". This won't happen if the Invoice has any other value in the Status field. If the Status gets changed, you will want to change it back to its original value.
