My desktop computer went out, but with a neat device, I'm able to access the hard drive from my laptop, and find my original installation file, but when I run it I get the the message " can't connect to network". Can someone tell me how to get aw2000 installed on my laptop?

I am sorry your PC went out. But aren't those little cabling devices just totally cool! I have one and use it all of the time when working on a computer for someone... I love it. I am so glad you can still access the hard drive..

Easy as pie to move the program

ON the old hard drive, right click on the AW2000 folder and select Copy

Then go back to your laptop hard drive,
Click on the C drive, right click and select paste

All the computer to copy the files

that will move your registration files etc.
Then come back here to the AW2000 and download a copy of AW2000 right on top of it. That will install all the BDE files etc.

Run AW2000 and go to Tools > Check for program updates"

You should be good to go.
