For years and years, installing a program update (as I did today) causes my customized column arrangement and sizing to revert to the defaults. Thom has examined the UpgradeDbLog and can't find an explanation.
If anyone reading this is in the habit of rearranging the columns in the Email window, please let me know if you find you always have to re-do your customizations after a program update.
Thanks.

I wish I could give up on eBay .. They are still our strongest sales avenue. Amazon is looking good and we are still selling product on Bonanza.. Overstock.com of course killed their Auction site which was a huge bummer because we were selling stuff on overstock ..
Okay enough whiining
Honestly Sue we rearrange our email columns and I can't say they have ever reverted back to default. But I will do some changes on Monday before installing the newest update on our system and see what happens.
I been gone on a trip with my husband and so the newest update hasn't been installed on our network yet.
I still list things on eBay that would be verboten on Etsy (not old enough), but I cringe when I see the listing/FVF fees (I'm no longer a Power Seller, so no discounts).
Please do let me know if a program update (not just the category updates) results in your customized email column settings reverting back to the defaults.
Hey, the good news is that I received a notification (a copy) of your reply to my post. That feature went missing well over a year ago. Apparently, re-registering in a new user ID got the feature working again. But we certainly should not have to re-register to take advantage of the notifications. Something is broken in the WWWThreads site code.....or whatever.....

So weird. What a mystery. There's nothing special about my computer (WinXP), no unusual settings I can think of that would cause this little irritation. Oh well, thanks for doing the test and letting me know.
