Backups - omit Archive Tables to save time? [re: ]

Backing up the Database Tables (including images and email) AND the Archive Tables takes at least 15 minutes for my copy of AW. I recently unchecked the box for backing up the Archive Tables, and the time is cut in half. I'm assuming the archived data would not change until your next archiving (which I do about once a year), so no need to back it up every time you run a Database backup, right?

HI Sue

The archive is a copy of previous archive files. They only need to be copied when changed. So that will work

Now me, I am like over total paranoid so I backup everything. And send copies across the network to two computers and run a backup offline to webspace at carbonite . Call me nuts
