Update's, Features to AW2K new [re: ]

I've built my eBay business around this software, but I am clueless as to what the future holds for this software. I've emailed the developer over a year ago begging for PayPal intergration along with pulling the tracking number from eBay. When will the software support Multi Variation auctions? I've had auctions canceled, due to not using multi variations.
I'm not trying to demand too much, a road map along with expected dates for the software would answer all my questions.
It's almost October and the last update to the software was in January. Is development still ongoing with the software?
More and more of my time is going to fill in the gaps that AW2K does not perform. I would much rather continue supporting this software than to start looking for something else.
Some answers is all I need.
Thanks,

I've used AW2K for over ten years (or 46,000+ auctions). Would love to see it integrated with Joomla OSCommerce or Virtuemart.

Stamps.com has helped with tracking numbers for me, as well as a bar code reader and Eltron label printer.

WHat other stop gap solutions have you used?

Hi, I understand your concerns about AW and the future. we also have built our business based on this software. There is no doubt AW has many very strong points and maybe is in need of an updated version. Such as supporting the many recent ebay listing requirements. Have to admit that I have thought about other listing software and bottom line there is no perfect software out there. Take for instance Auctiva, lacks some of the features of AW.
What I would like to know is anyone listing on ebay using multiple listing software? A friend tried this a few years ago and had nothing but problems.

Hi

We have built our business model using AW2000. Honestly there isn't too much that we can't do. Even with unsupported websites we manage easily in Aw2000. We don't have oversell issues because the inventory item module is so strong. I see other sellers that are constantly battling managing inventory and overselling because they have trouble with a weak inventory management system.

We even manage craigslist postings with AW2K when something sells and needs to be shipped to the customer.

Since I audit software frequently for other companies, there is always pros/cons with software. A business has to determine what works for them.

for our business --- I like computer based software not cloud based. When the internet is down, we can keep on working. Security is much easier to control computer based software.

But with all that aside, AW2000 just issued pretty cool software updates

I had almost given up on the items condition feature, but I'm glad Thom got it programmed. :)

If we could get the option "New (Other)" added to the item condition field it would be really appreciated.

Yeah it looks good, but we need New (Other) added. The only way to use the new condition field right now is if the item is in used condition.

HI

what full category tier is the Condition description not appearing if New (Other) is the selected condition value?

I am not seeing that.

Re: Update's, Features to AW2K new [re: bluepennylady]

Hi Judy,
If the "New (Other)" option was available in the Condition Field we would be able to use the new feature (below #1) that Thom added for new items as well, but right now we only have the option to use it if it's a used item. For example I have something that has never been opened/used , but it's missing the wrapper. There's plenty of other stuff that'd fit into "New (Other) and there's actually a couple of others descriptors (#2) that could be added, but the main one for me is the "New (Other)".

I hope that made sense. :)

1. "Support for eBay's "Condition Description" field has been added to the Inventory Items window and the Auction Lots window"

2. "http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/item-condition.html"
