Wanted to do a backup. I put a CD in drive and clicked on tools>database>backup. Got the dialog box that should the backup target spot as F drive and there were also a couple other sub folders under it.

I then exited the window. Then I went to tools>database>backup AGAIN. However, now the dialog box only has a target of F drive with NO sub folders. AND, when I hit the backup button nothing happens at all. The dialog box just sits there.

Woops! What did I do wrong?

The Database Backup Utility cannot save a backup directly to a CD. You should save your backup file to your hard drive, then use your CD software to copy the backup file to a CD.
