I recently thought of this while trying to accomodate Ebay's "Easy Buy" holiday special. To participate, you need to add a short piece of HTML to each listing. For me, I had to edit 40 templates.

So my suggestion....

On the final "List Auction" options window, add an option below the "preview picture", to append an HTML file to the listing.

This would accomplish so many things! Not only would it handle unusual short term needs (like ebay promotions), but it could be used to mention holiday specials, or even additional TOS.

But mostly, it would only be a single modification that could affect all of your listings regardless of templates. Imagine if you wanted to tryout one of those fancy "galleries", like Sparedollar's - you could do it without having to edit all of your templates.

It seems like it would be an easy add-on, and it would make so many things easier.
