Performance due to images can be improved?

The problem we have is that we have many images in our database, one for each of 17,000 plus auction/store listings, which slows our access to each listing record considerably.

Is this caused by an image table pre-loading?

If so, why not develop an selectable option (so it can be switched on and off) to mark that at start up of AW2K if we want the image table pre-loaded or not. Generally we only need the images displayed if we are due to list the items. When we create the descriptions or often when searching or shipping or invoicing we do not need these images (or we could selectively switch them on/off?).

My idea is that we could improve productivity greatly by speeding up going through so many records.

Peter,

You should contact tech support at info@auctionwizard2000.com and explain what is happening.
