Locking up when trying to list

I have been having a recurring problem. When I try and list AW2000 hands up. If I keep retrying eventually it makes it through the last step. Sometimes It might take 3 tries sometimes this might take 15 tries. Sometimes it works without any problems at all.

Not that this has happened in two separate states of our Union ISPs.

Here are the steps and where I get hung up when it happens.

First I click

Tasks
List Queued Auction Lots
Under "Select Auction Lots to List", Clicked OK
Under "Listing Wizard", Clicked List Lots

AW2000 then takes over. It goes pretty fast but toward the end I see the following.

Uploading images to FTP Account xxxxxx.com
uploading datestamp.html - done
Status: Connected

Then it locks up until I either click Abort or I wait long enough and get the error message "Socket readln aborted"

The last step it can't seem to complete is something with the datestamp.html I think.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

I've seen that before - it's an FTP problem.

Look at your "advanced internet settings" in AW2k - my timeout is set to 90 seconds, use WinInet API is checked (mode 2), use PASV is checked, and use Quit is checked.

It's been awhile since I changed these, and don't know what the default settings are - but this combination has been trouble free for me for quite awhile.

Your FTP site might be different - so you might have to play around with these settings...
