Hey Carol,

I am sure that there are some free hosting sites out there and someone may chime in and let you know.
I use Siteground to host and right now they are offering your first year for just $9.95. That will give you full access to hosting, a domain name, FTP, email etc. and you can really just use the features you need or go gun ho and use everything!
By the end of the 12 months you'll know if you want to keep the service, but until then it's pretty cheap hosting!

Just follow this link for the deal:

Anybody else that wants to take advantage go right ahead!
Hope this helps!

Hi Marty,
I know this is an old post, but wanted to let people know the $9.95 deal is still good, but you have to talk to a rep to get the correct link. The link you posted takes you to the right page, but when you click "Sign Up" it takes you to a different deal.
I paid $36.90 total I think for a whole year including my domain name and the privacy feature. Nice deal and the CS ladies was very helpful.

Christopher,

Thanks! I checked it out and you are right link is still good.
Actually clicking through it to check deal was still valid. The $36.90 comes from the $9.95 hosting, the $14.95 domain name registration and their new Domain Privacy feature deal at $1.00/mo.
It's a real great value and have been a fantastic service all around!

Here's the link again for anyone else:

Christopher,

Also noticed on some of your other posts that you were trying to get email set up for AW2K.
I know you probably know but, you can set up emails through your new siteground account!
They work seamless!

Re: Free Hosting Sites new [re: moonstruck22]

Hey Marty,
Yeah I spent a lot of time worrying about that and never even thought of just using the hosting site email when I got one.

I'm fixing to get that and my FTP setup in AW2K today I hope so I can try using it to list this weekend while I still have some of my trial period left. It's taken longer than I thought, so I hope learning how to work the rest of AW2K is quicker :)

Christopher.

Re: Free Hosting Sites new [re: mushroomhunter70]

Christopher,

Setting it up through your domain works great and it is nice to have everything related. In my opinion it helps to keep things organized and running smooth.

Good luck getting set up, shouldn't be a problem for you.

I think everyone will admit to a bit of a learning curve with AW2k but if you just take it one step at a time you'll get along fine.

Also we are all here to help, just gotta ask us!

***Here's a Judy bump - Judy do you still have available that step by step PDF that you had for newbies with AW2K?
Christopher might appreciate it, I did!! I know that we could look through the help files but your touch makes it so much more special!!!*********

Make it a great day!

Mickey,

Thanks for letting me know, but must have been a glitch. I've checked all links and at this time, could change at any moment but they seem to be working.

However, as of today i don't have any items in my store on eBay.
Working on some changes and maybe a move off eBay completely especially if i can ever get my new improved website up and running!

In any case, thanks again for the bump!

I do have things up on Bonanza and Etsy feel free to take a look there!
