Can't FTP since installing Live One Care

This past weekend we went from ZoneAlarm to MS Live One Care. Ever since, I've been dealing with problem after problem relating to the firewall. I wasn't able to communicate with eBay but I fixed that by defining ports for HTTP and HTTPS. The only problem I have left is uploading photos to my hosting site (LunarPages). I can get out there but cannot get communications back. When I try to test FTP settings from AW, I get an error that it was unable to get the filelist.

Is there anyone out there who is running Live One Care and AW together that would be willing to compare settings?? If I turn off the firewall, AW works like a charm, so I'm sure it is set up fine. PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks!
Donna

Donna.

I have not yet looked at the Live One Care but I do know you have to add AW2K to it so it has total permissions (I think that is their term) to communicate both ways both incoming and outgoing.

Does LIve One Care have an exceptions or allowed programs configurations?

Hi Judy,

The program is allowed. I feel pretty confident it is a problem with the FTP port definition . I have tried all various of ports 20-22 but it's still not working. I just hope someone out there is using Live One Care.

Donna,

Send me your FTPlog.txt file.

Try the FTP test. After it fails go to Windows Explorer.
Expand My computer
Expand the "C" drive.
click on the AW2000 folder.
In the right hand preview pane, scroll through the alphabetical file folders and attach the FTPlog.txt file to an email message. I will look it over and see if I can find the cause of the problem.

my email addy is info@pennyworthsales.com
