Duplicating HTML converted templates

After converting a listing template to HTML and working on it for awhile, i wanted to create a new one with a few other changes for other circumstances so I duplicated it.
Upon the copy being made the copy wasn't in HTML form, is that right or did I do something wrong?
Why wouldn't it just copy it in pure HTML?

Suggestions?

Marty,

Hey how are you doing!

When duplicating even a HTML template, the copy is in regular form. You will have to take the copy and convert it to Pure HTML. Then you can make the changes to the new HTML one.

I hope that made sense...

Judy,

Been doing fine, just kind of hanging in the weeds getting inventory ready for a big launch.

Yes that made sense and is the way I handled it, just wondered why i was having to do that extra step.

Thanks for the confirmation.
