Template Size Question

Hi All,
I have been using AW2K for a couple years and been happy with the default templates and a few photos. I have begun adding more info to the templates and it looks like I have run out of space. I found as I added a few images toward the bottom of a template they were placed over text fields above them. Kind of overlaping. I tried changing the left, right center locations but didn't fix.
Does AW2K limit the size othe the template or can I adjust it?

Thanks

Hi,

Have you tried removing some of the static information from the description field and placing it into the Footer? The footer area can even handle HTML and hyperlinks...

The other thing you might want to try is to convert a template to Pure HTML and add tables there. If you do convert a template to Pure HTML,,, duplicate the one you are going to convert, rename the duplicated copy and then convert your duplicated copy. If you don't like the results or make a mistake, the original is still intact to start over again by duplicating.

Does that help?

Re: Template Size Question new [re: bluepennylady]

Hi and thanks for the reply. My question is about the AW2K templates and their size. Do you know if the format is limited in the amount of info you can add? I have 9 page components, Images and text blocks in a template. This does not count the page body and horizontal lines in the template. Is this to much for one template? I am not real good the HTML construction so I would rather use the templates and make minor changes.

Thanks

HI,

I am sorry. I misunderstood your question.

There isn't any restrictions other than good display concepts as far as what you can add to a template. If you were to align images to the right or left, and add 10 images, all 10 will simply line up in a long row. EVen if you have 12 page components.

Page components and other things you add are inserted precisely where you put them. Nothing will overlap.. So images won't bleed over into the next page component. Or page components wont' overlap, etc.

You just want to keep the templates where they are pleasing to the eye and will load easily into a browser for a prospective buyer.

Does that answer your question?
