Importing Listings

Hi. I'm new to AW and am exploring it. I have 3 sites on EBay, two of which have about 2,000 different items each. I would like to import these so I can quickly configure AW for my needs. I also have these listings in a TurboLister compatible csv file. I tried importing from EBay but saw that my HTML code was stripped out. Is there an alternative way to import listings?

Thanks,
Dan

Re: Importing Listings new [re: dwdwone]

Dan,

You can uncheck the "Strip HTML tags from description" on the importer. But the imported listings are still going to need some attention after importing.

You can elect to write all the descriptions in HTML if you prefer. However., the benefits of using a template is lost.

The templates in AW2K can be converted to pure HTML. And the field tags included in AW2K can be added. You can even create a listing template in an editor and paste the HTML code into a new blank HTML template which is what I did to mine

Images will need to be added to the imported items. Aw2K uses your own webspace for image management. Super slick as a whistle. ONce setup you dont have to touch it again.

Does that help?
