We just started using AW2000 and are excited about the inverntory and listing capabilities. So far my biggest issue is that our pictures come in in an order other4 than what we wanted. Instead of 1,2,3,4,5,they come in 5,4,3,2,1, I can go in and change the order with the image tools but I want hem to come in in the order I list them. Can anyone help. Also we need to print an inventory labe on our label printer and need to figure out how to format that as well..

Isn't the inventory module just the best..! We love it.. use it to manage just about everything..

I don't quite understand what you mean about the image order.. The images will appear on the Inventory item in the order that you add the image.. And when a Auction lot is created, the images are copied in the same order to the Auction lot.

Is that not happening?

As far as Inventory Labels... We use the Reports for Inventory items List.. Customized it to a page setup size of 4 x 2.. We have the inventory item number, the title line, storage location.

And send it to a tractor pin=fed address label ... You have to fiddle with it to get the margins and spacing right.

Judy, Thanks for the welcome and I look forward to chatting with you as we both grow our businesses. What is happening with the images is that i go out and select say 10 images as a time. The order that they come into AW is different than the order I have them in my computer folder. I have to go into the AW software and rearrange the order manually and this is a time sump. As an example in my last listing My images were numbered from 32 to 41 in my folder and are in that order in the folder, when they were loaded into AW they came in this order 40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 32, 41.
I will be trying to design our inventory tag. If I have difficulty I will contact you again if you don't mind.

Got it.. No problem

Use the Ctrl key to select the images.. And the image you want to go first you select last..

As far as labels for inventory items. My staff also uses Avery label maker.. Some of the staff can paste the information into Avery label maker just as fast as generating a report for an Inventory Item.. We use both methods though.
