Deleted Invoice instead of Merging - what now?

I've managed to confuse myself or AW2000 - or both.

I had several auctions that finished. One buyer won 4 different auctions. When invoices were generated I thought I checked "combine auctions from same buyer" but I ended up with 4 different invoices for the same buyer.

Not realizing there was a "merge" option, I deleted the invoices with the intent of creating one new invoice and adding the items to it. I got the invoice created, but when I try to add the items I get a message that they already have a buyer and I have to delete the buyer/invoice from the auction lot .... but I can't figure out how to do it.

So now the auction lot shows the buyer with the invoice number is blank ... but I can't generate an invoice or add the item to a new invoice.

Help? What to do?

Marie

Go to one of the auction lots. Click on the "buyers" tab. You will see the list of buyers in the left-hand side. Right-click on the buyer's user ID, and select "delete buyer". Then, make sure the auction lot status is OFFLINE. You should now be able to add the item to the invoice.
