Closing Invoice on nonpaying bidder

What is the best procedure to close an invoice when a bidder does not pay and you request the final value fee for eBay. I assume you can delete the fees from the auction item, but how do you return that item to the inventory without deleting the invoice.

Also, I need to know this because I have one auction where I was not able to get my fees back because I filed the NPBA too late. So, I need to keep track of the fees, but I want to relist the item so it needs to have a different status.

Hi groovydane,

We usually put a note in the notes the Non Paying Bidders email address, close date, auction number, close price & the invoice #. Then delete the invoice, removeing all winning bidders from the auction lot, option. This will allow you to relist the item.

You can add or delete any fees in the auction lots. You will have to do it manually.

Bob
