Ebay Says AW2000 Told It to Send Invoice

After an auction I use the AW2000 to prepare invoices and notify winning bidders. I do not use the eBay "send invoice" feature. However after my most recent auction ended, I got the following message:

Dear Alan,
Congratulations! Your item just sold. An invoice to the buyer has automatically been sent by eBay on your behalf. Please ship your item as soon as possible after receiving cleared payment.

Thinking that eBay had turned on an automatic "send invoice" feature, I contacted eBay (by chat) to find out how to turn it off. I was told that eBay sent the invoice because AW2000 had asked it to -- and that if I didn't want eBay's invoice to be sent, I needed to deal with it in AW2000. That's sounds like poppycock to me, but maybe I'm wrong.

Anyone have insight into this?

Hi

That is nonsense. AW2000 does not send communications to eBay requesting eBay send an invoice on your behalf.

Notification preferences define what emails are sent automatically on your behalf not AW2000.
