Using UPS shipping lablels to ship via USPS?

Hi,
Just wondering if any of you have tried to ship package via USPS using the free UPS 4x6 labels? If not, does anyone here think this would cause a problem with the post office? IE-Returned packages, ect.? Just curious =)

Thx and best regards,

Hmmm______. Kind of reminds me of items I've won that come Media Mail or Parcel Post packaged in Priority Mail boxes turned inside-out or wrapped with plain brown paper. Not the use they were intended for.

I haven't done this - yet.
But a number of AW2K users seem to be with no problems. The USPS doesn't seem to care if your using UPS labels. If there is a UPS identifier on the label cut it off or black it out.
I'm surprised UPS hasn't caught on. Free seems free, but it is costing somebody.

I've decided just to purchase some blank/white labels on ebay, instead of having to worry about it (and cheat UPS on top of that). You're right, free IS free, BUT someone is paying for it somewhere down the line. Anywho, I got a good deal on some blank 4x6 thermal labels on eBay that cost under 1cent per label!
