How many want Priority Labels???

Thom said that he didn't get that many requests for priority labels - so if you want them, here is your chance to let him know. Any program that requires one to import, export, or go to another program in order to print onto a FREE priority label is causes an unnecessary waste of time. Any one of the Avery 4" x 5" single labels where one can place the buyers address anywhere on the label would be super. This will work with any of the priority labels which are so great for customizing with logos and return addresses by running them through the printer first 50 at a time - these look really sharp. I would love priority labels. I would have requested it, but didnt' think it possible.

I have been using the free one from www.usps.com and have had almost no one say they didn't get their item. Before using the free tracking label from usps. I was having a lot more people try to claim that their package never showed, they didn't want to pay the extra 40 cents.

But now it is much better and that would be a totally great thing to be able to print them from the software.

I have figured out a way to use the existing program to send the single priority labels - if anyone is interested. Use these settings with Avery Label #5164 Horizontal shift to .25, vertical shift .2, font size 14, shift to right by 0.3 and have Include Return Address checked. Skip 0 labels. This will print out a single priority label with the customers name in the correct position. - you can only print one at a time : Invoice: Print Shipping Labels; Tools: Print queued labels. Sure beats having to pay another fee or having to go out of the program into another program.

I would really like Priority Labels. Thanks for the suggestion on setting up 5164 labels. On my printer, I have to put the label on the left side, but my Lexmark printer prints on the right side. Any suggestions? I couldn't get USPS labels to work with AW2k Thanks -Bill

I don't know anything about Lexmark printers - my opnly suggestion is to keep fiddling with the horizontal and vertical shifts until it comes out correctly.

I too have been trying to print priority labels through AW2000. It didn't work for me. I have been having to print them from Word. Would love to be able to print them from the program!!!!

RE: Free tracking labels from USPS.com new [re: Quiltcharms]

Hi,

I saw on a reply from quiltcharms that there is a free tracking label from usps.com. I can't find one - all I see are the regular shipping labels and they don't have any tracking to them. Am I looking in the wrong place?
