Just go to http://www.dymo.com and on the left side go to office/mailing solutions. This is what it says: Desktop Mailing Solution Fully integrated mailing solution for precise postage and perfect labels from PC or Mac. Includes no-monthly fee DYMO Stamps.
You raise a good point, how long is FREE. I'm going to check on that part. I also have gone to Amazon and put in Dymo Labelwriter and I check what the reviews are.
Just wondering if anyone using AuctionWizard200 has used Dymo. It should would be worth it if it was FREE forever.

Wilma,
I checked Endicia. If you buy a Dymo labeler, or I should say a few styles of the Dymo labeler, you get one year free subscription to Standard subscription. There were a couple of Dymo labeler styles that you got a reduced subscription fee. All of them came with a few rolls of labels.
I found the information on dymo finally. It is a no monthly fee for using their postage service and software. But I have to find out if the postage can be stealth. And about International forms plus the insurance. I wonder if they offer USPS insurance as well as U-Pic. hummm, questions, questions, questions
Let me know what you find out.

Wilma,
Okay here is what I found so far----
It is free. Labels must be purchased from Dymo, Endicia or Stamps.com You cannot get credit for postage printed in error. The labeler is not compatible with the 4 x 6 labels required by DHL, UPS or FedEX You can print postage ahead of time as there isn't a date stamp.
I can't find anything out about stealth postage or International forms yet. May have to email support.

Hi Wilma:
I have a Dyo LabelWriter Twin Turbo. But the "free" stamps is a very limited account and is only good for first class postage not for variable amounts. I do use the Printer for Stamps dot Com postage though. In my case I use postage stamps on all packages about 99% of the time. The other 5% is printed with Dymo using stamps dot com. I do use the Dymo to address my packages. For me it is a cut and paste action and I have the label. Remember, though I'm using envelopes for mailing and not large packages. The envelopes I use are the 6 3/4 size up to a 9 x 12 size. All are preprinted with return address and advertising of sorts. So all I have to do is put on a label and postage. If for some reason I need a package then I use the USPS Shipping Assistant for the label.
Just thought I'd chime in about the "free" postage. The subscription is free but of course the postage isn't and it is limited. But if you want to give 'puter printed postage a try this would be the way to go. You are "allowed" to upgrade to a full subscription at any time. Then you can print what ever you want or need.

Garry,
Thanks for sharing about the Dymo labler. That makes sense about the free subscription.
