Gallery Image Problem

I've recently had quite a few gallery images not showing up. Ebay sends an automated email notifying me or I would never know. This happens even if I only have one image and that image is showing up fine in my listing.
Following the link in the email I can usually correct it right away, but sometimes it is stubborn. All I do is refresh the image sort of....I don't enter a new URL or anything.
Today it happened again when using my old listing service, so apparently it's not a unique problem with auctionwizard.
Anyone else getting these error messages lately?

HI

Yes,,, it is an eBay issue though not a AW2K. It is actually happening to some of my other seller friends that use any listing tool other than the Sell Your Item form.

I think it is because eBay is making all these changes the servers just get overloaded with all the "new and improved" features

I find that if I remove the Gallery image (via revise), then just add it back, it will make it show up. Maybe that's what you mean by "refresh the image sort of."

Yes that's what I meant. I almost couldn't remember how I fixed it, but that's what works. I never had this issue until the last month or so. At least I've never gotten the email from Ebay notifying me of the lack of gallery picture.

I think the first time I had this issue and got the eBay notification that my Gallery image wasn't working was about three years ago. Since then, maybe one Gallery pic goes missing in every 100 listings.

Hmm that's interesting. I've listed quite a few thousand items in the last few years and the last month is the first time I've gotten that email. My previous listing services (I've only recently been using AW2000) had their own picture hosting. Do you suppose that because I now host my own pictures that could be part of the reason? I actually was thinking of changing my picture host thinking that could somehow be causing it.

I doubt it has anything to do with the image host, but I don't really know. My image host is Pair.com.

HI

The missing Gallery image URL isn't just confined to Auction Wizard. Anytime there is images, URL's and uploads involved, there is a chance of a technical issue happening.

A couple of things you might ought to check on yoru computer...
Be sure your anti virus and internet security settings are configured to exclude AW2000 from scanning while uploading files.. Be those files images to the web space or Auction lots to eBay.

And are you writing your own GAllery Image URL or are you allowing AW2K to use the first image on the Auction lot as the Gallery image? If you are writing your own Gallery image URL, be sure the URL is correct with no spaces etc in the URL.

And just my opinion, but I really suspect that some of the eBAy changes coupled with the technical issues they are experiencing could be causing some of the listing glitches.

I had a serious listing glitch on a couple of Auction lots this week that almost caused a train wreck with a buyer. eBay tech's could not explain what happened even though it is plain as day it was listed incorrectly and my listing settings were correct.

I am hoping the fixes they installed over the weekend correct some of this stuff... Here's to hoping
