eBay's "Free" Auction Listings
|
|
|
Just wondering -
In the new fee structure, and even now i guess, the "free" auction listings that eBay is offering. Can we list them from AW2K or do we have to use their lister?
Any insight as to how this is working and going to work?
I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it! And just when you think you've got it figured out they decide to change something else!

The "free" listings are only for those who do not have a subscription (store) plan. And then the free listings are the first 100 within a 30 day span. The start price must be $0.99 ...

Judy,
Yeah, I actually knew that but was thinking outside the box seeing if there was a way to make out better by using that to our advantage in a round about way. Kind of burns me thinking that they, eBay, say hey get a store subscription and we'll charge you more!
Anyway, if we were of the nonsubscription folk, could we list from AW2K and get credit for those 100 free?
Just wondering!

Any AW2000 who does not have a subscription plan will be able to list and get the 100 free if the Auction lot qualifies. It isn't restricted to the listing form. Or they have not said anything about that so far that I have read.
Every seller is going to have to sit down with pen/paper and figure out the best way to handle the changes for their business model. Moving store listings to core search is a good thing. I think store listings should have been searchable all along. I am more concerned about how the influx of thousands of listings is going to effect the search algorithm. I think there will be bugs .
