Certified Providers

On eBay's Listing Solutions page:

http://certifiedprovider.ebay.com/ns/ListingSolutions.html

EBay acknowledges 13 Certified Providers. Did the programs on this chart pay to be on it? If not, why isn't AW2k listed? Does eBay deliberately fail to promote listing programs like AW? Are there other similar programs that were left out, or is AW the only one?

I was under the impression that any program which supported eBay's API was considered a Certified Provider.

Yes those people have to pay to be on that list. There is always money involved with anything like that concerning eBay.

And there is a difference between certified provider and eBay compatible application too.

I use to know what the charges were to be included in those lists. It escapes me right now but it wasn't cheap.

eBay only promotes who and what they want. There are many software programs "left out" of that list. I can think of several off top my head.
