eBay provides a "Custom Label" field that most sellers (who use SKU numbers) use. The AW2K Reference ID field should map to the eBay Custom Label field when an Auction Lot is uploaded. I test listed an item and the eBay Custom Label field is blank. Is this supposed to happen? Is there a way to fix this? This field is very important when trying to manage listings on eBay.

Hi
AW2000 does not support the eBay custom label.
There are other ways to manage that within the software itself though..
The SKU number can be added to the description field.. If you use a wasp or scancat, just hit the barcode and the SKU or UPC will appear in the description field. We use scancats to add the UPC to the eBay catalog field as well as our description field.
Although the custom label field at Ebay will not populate the information is still available to you..
And as you have discovered the Reference id field could also be used to track the SKU number.
We use consignors for vendors rather than actual consignors.. The inventory category is of course user defined by us. Reference ID is often the UPC code or something along those lines .. The Find/Search filters provide an option to search by Reference id, consignor, inventory category etc. So there are a host of ways to handle the inventory.
I'm trying for the first time to list an item with different sizes and colors. Shoes in one style for example;. 2 colors and 2 sizes and 2 pairs of each...total of 8 prs. I don't see that AW2000 can manage this or am I incorrect?
OK thanks for your reply. I suppose the best alternative is for me to do what I can using AW2000 and then list the item (it will be GTC) and then revise it as a live listing on Ebay.

Well editing a "live" listing to add the attributes doesn't work. It's not possible, so I made a duplicate using Ebay's Selling Manager Pro which let me add the attributes and quantities before launching the listing. At least I was able to copy and paste the description HTML from the AW2000 listing. I hope it won't be too long before this feature is added to AW2000.
