Re: My pictures are not showing up on my listing.. new [re: reysplace]

Rey,

Well I am glad you look forward to hearing from me. I am usually around. I had to leave for a little while and go do chores. It is below zero here. Had to put up the horses in their stalls and blanket them all down. That is usually easy. Except my colt has not had a blanket on before. That was a trip by myself in the barn alleyway. Considering the "colt" is about 16 hands, weighs around 1200 lbs and I am barely 100 lbs in wet wrangler jeans and boots.

First, go to the Auction lot in AW2K that has the missing images online. Leave the Auction lot online. Down in the bottom right underneath the description field, you will see "Preview Template" Hit it and allow AW2K to generate a preview of the auction in your browser. Leave that Preview displayed in your browser. You are going to need it in a second.

Launch your CUTE_FTP. I don't remember much about CUTE. You need to access your webspace using CUTE-FTP and locate the AW2K directory.

Then using CUTE, navigate to My computer. Expand My Computer.
Expand C drive.
Expand AW2000.
Locate the "Preview" folder. It is right under the "database" folder.
When you click on the "Preview" folder, the contents should appear in the CUTE-FTP display. I don't remember if it is on the right or left side.
The Preview you see will have the same AW2K logimage number you saw when you right clicked.
You want to upload that LotImg from the Preview folder to the AW2K directory on your web space using CUTE_FTP.

Does that make sense?

Rey,

Hummm, the image should now appear. If you uploaded the LogImg from the Preview to the AW2K directory on your web space the image should appear.

Just to be sure, you did check your FTP account by using the Test FTP settings in AW2K after you configured it??

Rey,

I think you need to refresh your browser. I just went to check the image URL again in the source and the image is displayed. Looking good!!

You did it!!

Unfortunately, the image is still not popping up on the listing...I am switching webhost as that is likely the problem.

Thanks for all of your help.

I may have some general ebay questions for you at a later, or shall I say earlier time...

Take care,
Rey

Rey,

I am sitting here looking at the image on Auction Item Number 300071359698. Is that the one? I used the search function at ebay in the upper right hand corner.

You are not seeing the image in your browser? Have you closed down your browser and tried to view the auction in a new browser window?

Re: My pictures are not showing up on my listing.. new [re: reysplace]

Rey,

Well now something is not right. I checked some of my listings and navigated back to your auction, image was displayed. Hit "refresh" and image disappeared. Searched by Item number and image appeared. Hit "refresh" and the image disappeared again.

I am looking at it again right now. But if I hit the "refresh" for my browser, it disappears again.

You should contact your ISP for sure. And I will ask AW2000 tech support first thing in the morning about this as well.
