Judy:
Hope you are feeling better and that you havent got those horrible flu bugs going around.

Good luck on the treasure hunt for your stamp collection. One never knows what they are going to find while looking through an old collection. If your grandmother started it there is a good possibility of some older stamps. Often older doesn't translate into valuable. The three countries you mentioned "Italy, France and Germany" do have some early stamps of value.

Garry,

I am feeling better. Geez I felt horrible for a couple of days. Thanks for asking.

I have not done Found my stamps yet. And I won't dig around until it gets warmer here. WHere they are stored is not heated. And I am a cold weather whimp--big time!!!

Hi Judy,

I was wondering if you pay the fee for this widget? Another $10 a month? I don't know.......

Re: New Widget for eBay new [re: bluepennylady]

Hi Judy,

Yes, I checked it out and it is great! I'm going to put it everywhere :) It said that if there were more than 50 listings then it would cost $9.95/month to include it on the eBay listings. I just wondered if you did that.

Cher,
Hummm, not there was no charge when Garry and I tried it out a month ago. Perhaps I better check. But then I don't have a clue how in the world they would charge me, they don't have any of my information

Re: New Widget for eBay new [re: bluepennylady]

Hi Judy,

Seems like it says they will just deactivate the showcase if you go over 50 listings. But its always free for off-eBay websites. I'm gonna use it anyway and if all 50 of my listings sell because of it I guess I'll pay the fee and list more stuff (and dance all the way to the bank)!

Hope you are having a great day!

Re: New Widget for eBay new [re: substance292]

Cher,

When Garry and I first checked Widget, it was free. They said they were making changes and we could not update our HTML for a week. The fees is something completely new as is the Widget creator. Looks totally different.

Re: New Widget for eBay new [re: substance292]

Cher:

Well, you're right they have changed it again. However, as long as you use it on NON eBay pages there are no charges. So if it is placed on your web site then it's free. The charges come in when it's used on an eBay page. But the price is so cheap - well sorta cheap - that I agree with you about just using it on eBay and seeing what it will help sell. I'm not sure about how well I'll dance but I'm with you on the bank part. If it drives more buyers then for the price it is well worth it.

Judy, you're right though it was free at first. No charges at all. They have rearranged the way you get the code - just made it easier to figure out. I think that's why we couldn't update code for that week - they were working out the price structure.

It is still a great widget though and the whole concept of it is so sharp. Just don't understand why we didn't think of it LOL. I've updated my widget if ya wanna look

Garry,

Yep I thought the widget was much easier to control now. I have not updated my website yet.

I will go look at yours Garry Trotting right over there now!
