eBay's calculator for US->Canada wildly off.  

I think that eBay's calculated rates for shipments to Canada are wildly off. They're high. High's just as bad as low--it's high enough that it might put off bidders. Watch out.

BTW, does it seem to you that the Canadians are really enjoying the exchange rate (loonie = buck, more or less) and bidding higher?

Do you have your Insurance preferences set to "Required" on your Auction lots in AW2K? If you do, that can account for some of the rate problems.

But yes, I have noticed some of the rates are high. I finally added a blurp on some of the auction lots of the heavier items asking International buyers to contact us for shipping quotes are the eBay calculator was inaccurate. Works,,they email asking for a quote.

Yes Canadian buyers are bidding things up higher than the continental US..... could be the exchange rate.. Never know.. Or just Christmas and product is much higher there than here.
