eBay Category update 1-5-09 new

Hi, all.

eBay has released a major category update. So be sure to update your AW2000 program

To update simply click on "Tools" on the menu and choose to"Check for program updates". AW2000 will do the rest for you.

Happy selling!

Judy - it is not working - when I list auctions it keeps telling me that the item specifics need updating - not all categories but most of them.

thank you, Sharon

Sharon,

YOu are receiving this error message after installing the latest category/Item specifics update?

Have you checked "Tools | Check for program upddate" again? eBay makes changes every single day (yes it is ridiculous) so perhaps there is another update available. I have not yet checked it. Maybe I better..

Judy - that was the first thing I did - it said I was running the current version. Are you getting any of these error messages when you list?? thanks, Sharon

Re: eBay Category update 1-5-09 new [re: racicot]

Sharon,

No I am not.

Send me your Listinglog.txt file and the HTTPlog.txt file. Let me take a look at it and see what is going on.

Send it to info@pennyworthsales.com

On the menu of AW2000, click Program options. In the lower right hand corner select generate HTTPlogs.

List.

After the errors appear, cancel the listing proces.. Go back to the Program options and uncheck Generate HTTP log files.

Then attach the two files to an email.

You will find the files by going to Windows Explorer. Expand My Computer,
Expand C drive
Click on the AW2000 folder.
File in the Preview pane are in alphabetical order.

Judy - I just sent the files to you. Thank you for looking at them. And I got your name wrong - looking at your user id and got confused :(

Sharon.

dont you worry about my name one little bit. Everyone does that. So no apologies or don't even give it a second thought.

I have not received the files yet but will later. I am going to eat with my hubby and I will check the files later this evening.

I'll email you back after I look at them.

Sharon,

You are not receiving errors, only warning messages. The auction lots are all listing... The status in the logfile indicates they are "Online"..

I did receive an Item specific warning late tonight when I listed. My guess is eBay has made more changes causing the warning message to display after the listng process. But the Auction lots are going online..

Check your program updates on Tuesday of this next week. And see if there is a new release out.
