question about listing to my new store new

I opened a store and seem to be unable to list anything in it.

The 30 day fixed price auction I just submitted was accepted by ebay thankfully. But it shows in the search, and I didn't think store items showed in a search now. So is it a store item or an auction?

Also, in my store, all my auctions are showing up in the wrong category. I was pretty sure I had everything set in the correct category before listing. What did I forget to click :) ?

HI

eBay actually eliminated the "stores" a few weeks ago. Now they are subscription plans. It has it up side and downside.

THe really good up side is now all Fixed price listings show up in the regular search. Which is great. Store listings did not so not much store stuff sold.

Fixed price is not an Auction.. It is the same as the store format. The price is the Buy It Now price. No bidding. Just hit the button to buy.

What do you mean the listings are showing up in the wrong category? Do you mean the eBay site category is incorrect?

Or your eBay "store" categories are incorrect?

Can you provide a couple of listings that the category is incorrect on?

Re: question about listing to my new store [re: bluepennylady]

Hi Judy, Maybe I jumped the gun. At first, if I searched the title of my new 30 day fixed price auction, it showed up in regular search, but when I went to my store it wasn't there, only my 7 day auctions were there. After I wrote my concern here, the fixed price auction eventually displayed in my ebay store. I should have been more patient.

The ebay store category is not (always) correct. I looked back at my auction lots and see I apparently didn't enter it correctly, (tho I thought I did).

I put up 3- 30 day fixed price sales yesterday, one is showing up in the correct store category, two are under 'other'. I used 'duplicate lot' to list the next two after the first one. I bet I shouldn't have done that.

So some listings are under the correct category and some are under 'other'. They should all be in the same category though. ( I know I can revise that.)

The ebay site categories are OK.

Thanks for trying to help a second time (you answered a question I had last week too) and it's nice to get to know you.

HI

It is my pleasure to meet you. And I am happy to help. NO worries at all.

Duplicating Auction lots is fine. I do it every single day.

You just want to be sure you have the information on the duplicated lot as you want it to be. So be sure to check the eBay store category. You don't want one to be blank (nothing in it) or use "other"..

Have you checked the Auction lots that are appearing in the "Other" store category to see what the Store categories are selected to in Aw2000?
