New eBay Stores look!

Hi, All,

Nick Donelson from the eBay Sellers Experience team made an annoucement today concerning the eBay stores layout and design.

New search enhancements within your store includes keywords, titles, Item specifics, just like on the entire site, except the buyer is searching just inside your eBay store. Cool!

New Store templates are sharper, crisper and more professional looking. The look is more modern.

From now until March 9, 2009 you can Preview and opt in/out of the new design. After March 9, all stores will automatically be changed over to the new design.

You ought to take a gander at the new look.

Here is the URL link to the announcement

Re: New eBay Stores look! new [re: bluepennylady]

Hi, All,

In case you have had a design company design your eBay store front,, you might ought to check and see how the store will look in the "new eBay stores". There are currently a long list of seller's who have discovered their store designs are not going to look right.

eBay is enforcing a long standing policy they have had called "Site Interference".. Some design companies have been coding designs which break those rules. The new store look stripes out unallowed code completely distorting the store look..

If you do have a store that is distorted, get with your designer. They should fix it for you free of charge. You already paid once for them to design your store... Fixing bad code is just part of their job and responsibility.

Happy selling!
