Picture Requirements new [re: ]

Judy, I was looking at your items on eBay and I see that you don't have your pictures listed in AW template. How do you go about doing that?

Thanks, and I'm wishing you continued success!

Hey!

We are experimenting with using the eBAy picture service. I changed the Auction profile settings to use the eBay pic service without FTP upload.

Because we have not edited all our images we will go back to using our FTP upload until all our images are up to snuff. We just do not have the manpower to resize this many images.

Oh, that explains it. And I was reading some of the other threads with comments about loading their pictures. I use Hostgator and I don't have any problems. also, I use Studioline for cropping my pictures, etc and when I transfer them to my folders, I transfer at about 600 x 800 and then let Auction Wizard put them to a different size. It seems to work.

Thanks, Judy, for getting back to me. I thought maybe there was something else that you had figured out that was better. Wishing you continued success.

HI

please post that really cool tool you found for checking images that are not compliant with eBay's pic requirements. That is a super handy tool. My staff loves it. They are currently editing the 26 images we have that are totally wrong. We have quite a few images that are in the Small range but will work.

And the tool you found really helped explain to my staff what they were doing wrong. As soon as they saw the images they finally understood what they were doing.Didn't matter how many times I had explained it, the tool really helped them see what to do.
